1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Burnr ("the Service"), operated by Burnr ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Burnr is a time tracking and project budget management platform designed for agencies, studios, and freelancers. The Service allows users to track time, manage project budgets, collaborate with team members, and generate reports.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Burnr offers free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan:

• You authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method via Stripe
• Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing settings in the application
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload malicious code or content that infringes on the rights of others
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Burnr and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service.

7. Data Ownership

You own all data you create, upload, or input into the Service (time entries, project data, client information, etc.). We do not claim any ownership over your data. You may export or delete your data at any time.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance in advance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Burnr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
